Janet Whitelaw-Jones
Founder
I’ve worked in international development and social impact since 1995, with a focus on strategy and organisational development.
My career began as a Project Manager with an NGO in Armenia. Over the years, I worked across a range of countries and roles, before moving into consulting with a private firm in 2001.
In 2016, I began working as an independent consultant. It was exciting — and precarious. At times, it felt daunting and isolating. More than anything, I wanted to connect with other women navigating the same transition.
That’s why I created the Women’s Consulting Workshop — a space for women working as consultants in the global social impact sector to connect, reflect, and learn from one another.
In 2020, I also set up Turas Partners, where you can find out more about my consulting work.
